#1:      PRACTICE DAILY NEGATIVE AFFIRMATIONS.

Welcome back. If you read last week’s introduction and are now eager to get started we begin with the first step of becoming a victim. For all of you who perhaps just stumbled onto this blog, welcome to all as well. It is my hope you, too, are excited to enrich your capacity for becoming an effective victim.

We start by PRACTICING DAILY NEGATIVE AFFIRMATIONS.

The key to success has to do with our thinking. Like so many things in life, commitment plays an essential role in whatever we wish to undertake. Therefore it is totally essential to keep your goal in the forefront. You can do so best by reciting at the start of each and every day, “I am a victim, I am a victim. I cannot help myself.”  Say this repeatedly as you rise from bed each morning; repeat it often throughout your day. Periodically add in things such as, “This is the worst day of my life.”

It’s so important that you make your statements completely negative, and that you state them in the present tense. And of course never say something that could diminish such negative thinking. Do not say things like, “It might be a so-so day”, or “I will someday become a victim.” Live your goal of negativity in the Present Moment. “I am a victim, NOW.” Live it with certainty. Do not leave any room for doubt or contrary thinking.

If during the day you should slip into saying something positive, be sure to cancel it out immediately. Replace any positive thoughts or statements with the more powerful, negative ones. Do not worry; since your mind cannot hold two opposing thoughts at the same time, by making the negative thought as the more dominant and forceful thought, over time, any lingering positive thoughts will completely disappear from your consciousness.

With this one step you will be on the road to victimhood in no time. And remember the best way to improve your skill is with practice. So for this week I encourage you to practice, practice, practice.
